Classes with Gilad
Gilad will challenge you to meet your fitness goals no matter what your level of
fitness. Gilad's dynamic instruction and great music make the workouts fun and
energizing. You will receive lots of personal attention and instruction from Gilad
and his staff. Explosive cardio, plyometrics, isometrics, weights and resistance
moves, will give you the ultimate workout.
Yoga
Unify your body, mind and spirit in meditative yoga classes. Enjoy early morning
yoga as a way to peacefully start your day at camp. These classes will involve
gentle stretching and breathing exercises.
Hula
Take classes in Hawaiian Hula. Get exercise and challenge your dancing skills as
you learn the meaning and techniques of Hula.
Pool Exercise
A fun and energetic class that will give you a great workout in the refreshing and
beautiful setting of an outdoor pool.
Walk/Jog
Enjoy the beautiful Big Island scenery every morning with an invigorating guided
walk or jog.
Lectures
Educational and inspirational lectures will be given on nutrition, health and fitness.
Island Excursions
As part of your vacation you will get to explore some areas beyond the Kalani
Oceanside Retreat Center. These field trips are a fun and exciting way to get a
taste of the beautiful and diversified landscape of the Big Island. It is all planned
for you, itinerary, transportation, and bag lunches.
Program Non-participants and Children
Children must be 16 and over to participate in the fitness program. Adult rates will
apply to children over 16 who participate. Children younger than 16 are welcome
at the retreat, although childcare will not be provided. See reservations page for
pricing. Non-participating adults are welcome to accompany a participant at a
reduced rate. See registration page for details.
